Target.com has been updated with a new listing for a soon to be released Target Exclusive Cybertron Shortround repaint as "Stormsurge". Target.com manages to make another mistake once again by listing the toy as "General Greivous" from Star Wars. The colors suggest that this release to coincide with the soon to be released "AllSpark Powered" Evac. No other listings have been found, but we will keep you updated when the rest of the next Target Exclusives that are part of this wave are unveiled.

That's a Decepticon Key with him.....

Wish it were an Autobot to go with Evac. :-(

The packaging itself is already Decepticon...

I seen the key before the Decepticon wording on the package.

Still disappointing they didn't make him an Autobot though.

Probably because S7 tortures TFs in the movie?

Just a guess :P

That Allspark line Escalade is an S7 vehicle too...Stockade I think...he's a decepticon too isn't he?

if you have ever picked up or owned Shortround you know this is a lame mold...hasbro really should have painted him yellow and blue and called him Seaspray that would have ensured him to be a must have...but as it stands blahhhhh....spose it would be easy to repaint him and keep him in hovercraft mode...I just never liked this dudes arms he just looks freaky in robot form

Yeah, but Landmine is an Autobot and an S7 vehicle. Thus the logic breaks down.

Back to the point, Storm Surge is an interesting name...will get if I find him...and robot mode isn't too garish (colours don't look too promising).

Oh, delicious. I missed out on Shortround, and I like this new color scheme a bit more.

As for toilet mode, "Storm Surge" sounds a bit more suggestive than Shortround. Flush attack, anyone?

I actually really love shortround, I dig freaky looking bot modes.

This repaint says Autobot to me though, not con. Shortround was clearly decepticon but this new colour scheme doesnt do that.

I agree with everyone who posted about making this a seaspray repaint, would have been a perfect repaint then.
little yellow and blue and white, I would be salivating.

Hasbro can't let out the Seaspray recolor. It is sure they will make a Botcon or CC Exclusive for that.

I didn't like this figure the first time around, can't see liking him now.

For me it's his arms that kill him.

...and no I don't think he'd make a good SeaSpray, no without some serious retooling, which we all know the'll never do.

Yeah, his arms are a bit weird, but the fact that he's a hovercraft makes him cool by default.

DOH! Dis is true...I guess S7 going from bad to good makes it possible to slap either an Autobot or Decepticon symbol on them.

Nope, only the target Exclusive Scout figures are Repaints of Cybertron and Energon figures.

The other sizes (deluxe, voyager, leader) are are repaints of movie figures and new figures as well.

Yes, Skowl is indeed happy!

Woohoo!

Shortround is my all-time favourite Transformers, and I always hoped they would repaint him for the movie line. The colours are cool, (but I will say a seaspray colour scheme would have been better - I'm usually against G1 homages unless they're for obscure characters, and Seaspray hasn't had a single homage yet), shame there are no bot mode pics yet...

Oh, and "Stormsurge" is a friggin' awesome name.

OOO a Shortround repaint...

Well he and Armourhide were two of the best Cybertron Basic, and neither had a repaint in that line, so I suppose its fair that they have been redone in the Movie line.

Key looks snazzy. If I see it I'll buy it.
