New Images of Nike Ultra Magnus and Starscream

This is entirely too different for my tastes. Interesting, and well-executed for what it is... but I'll have to respectfully pass.

I need to get these... I happen to like the Shoeformers, it's such a new refreshing idea. I just wish the both could have been changed a bit more like new head sculpts at least. I might not be able to get Magnus cause hes sold out but I will definetly pounce on Starscream when he comes up for sale.

Same here. I procrastinated on Magnus and am kicking myself for it. These felows sell out faster than anything else I've seen in a while. I believe this is due to the limited numbers of each.

I just don't get the idea of Transformers shoes. I wouldn't buy them for the price of a basic.

Demarcus, do you not remember the statement from the Botcon Hasbro panel that Ultra Magnus in TF:Animated will be a unique mould?

These shoe-chappies aren't my thing, but I'm glad those that are into them get to continue to develop their collection.

Well they're distinctly different so I can see why they are dividing opinion but I guess I fall into the "kinda like the look but still gonna pass on them" category.

Still can't see much with Starscream's robot mode that picture's so blurry.

Had Prime and Megs, sold Prime and Megs. They just weren't interesting enough to keep, and neither are these two. Pass.

ACS, TFSouce still has pre-orders for magnus, albeit at inflated prices.

Naysayers, like what you want, a few years down the line when these are in super high demand you'll want them for the sheer collectability.

I like 'em. Love NIKE brand stuff, Love TFs, it's a match made in heaven for me. Although I'm not sure why Starscream is black and red, but it must be the closest color NIKE makes to red and blue that was not used.

I didn't like the idea at first, but at Botcon I held them in my hands and had to get them. They are both cool looking bots, and the Nike replica box is awesome. I'm a big Nike fan, so this was right up my alley. My fiance ended up buying them for me as a surprise.

i can't quite figure out what starscream's face looks like....looks like a maybe problem with the photo or is it just me?

Pretty cool, huh. Not great but not bad

1) Magnus has the wrong colors on him. Why is there aqua where there should be blue? Looks bad.

2) Starscream's head look like Megs (despite the mark over it). I hope this is only on the proto, if not it sucks.

Well, technically UMagnus hasn't jointed the Shoeformers rank yet. Takara called him as Convoy/Prime. Otherwise he would be in my Ultra Magnus collection list already, ehehe. As for the color, I'm okay.

Look, Magnus/Prime okay. But Megatron/Starscream? If you want to re-color Megatron, at least just paint him purple and call him Galvatron. These Items are pretty sweet as collectors pieces, but I cannot really imagine much play value- especially considering that the're all the LEFT shoe! Why don't they make the recolors the opposite as the originals? Someone dropped the ball on this one.

Nope. Incorrect. At least with this collector. Super high demand or not, I'm just not interested, at all. I won't be either. Some things you can just look at and know, you just know it's something you're not going to like. That happens to be the case with these.

In fact, there's quite a few things that Takara has put out that have hit high demand as collectibles and I still to this day haven't purchased one, not one.

Well if you guys hate these guys so much, was anyone stupid enough to buy one and doesn't want it anymore? I'll buy it off of you... please?

To be honest, I think these things are cool. They're interesting. They're something so totally different and out there. I'd get them if I could shell out for 'em, but being a college student really doesn't give me much leeway with fun money. >_>;

Not my cup of tea, but if it does something for other collectors out there more power to you.

$200+ for 2 repaints, I don't care how rare they are...

Best of luck if you feel differently though.

I'd like these alot better if they had both a lest and right for each figure that would combine to make the robot.

But I guess it's to late for that now.

Agreed all the way around as for the armor, maybe they could do something with some insoles
